Alten – CRM Tool

Problem

Alten Nord’s internal CRM tool was based on an old version of Bootstrap and no longer met current UX and UI standards. The outdated design and limited ergonomics made daily use difficult for sales teams and hindered the monitoring of key indicators.

Research

  • Analysis of the existing tool and identification of pain points.
  • Creation of personas and definition of new user flows to optimize navigation.
  • Facilitation of workshops with internal teams to gather business needs.
  • Benchmarking of modern CRM solutions to define best practices to integrate.

Solution

  • Complete redesign of the interface using Material Design, aligned with the agency’s brand guidelines.
  • Transition from “infinite scroll” on employee records to a clear structure using cards and tabs.
  • Addition of key features:
    • Customizable dashboard and KPI tracking
    • Calendar synchronization (Gmail, Outlook, iCloud)
    • Push notifications and urgent alerts via email or SMS
    • Preparation of a V2 mobile app to extend usage to smartphones
  • Collaboration with 3 developer interns (AngularJS & MongoDB): backlog creation, user stories, sprint organization, and development follow-up.
