The GardenGo project was my final study project to validate my Master’s degree (M2) at Efficom Lille. We were tasked with creating a new marketplace brand to help relaunch the activity of Willemse France. At that time, their entire catalog existed only on paper, and they were not recognized online as a seller of plants and gardening solutions. To revitalize the company’s business, we were asked to design this new marketplace along with an innovative solution of our choice.
Together with my team, we proposed a mobile application that would allow users to manage connected gardening devices such as smart flowerpots, robotic lawnmowers, connected vegetable gardens, etc., using Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant. This was made possible through the brands’ SDKs, enabling integration with the GardenGo app.
But this was not the only feature: the app could also use the phone’s camera to determine whether a plant was unhealthy and provide solutions to improve its condition. In addition, it offered access to an online store via a responsive e-commerce website.
The different devices could connect to the app via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Usecase available only in french.
