Easy Santé – Manage your health

The project

As part of obtaining my Google UX Design certification on Coursera, I had to create several projects. One of them was Easy Santé. Easy Santé is a (fictional) mobile application designed to centralize Social Security and health insurance reimbursements in one place.
To use it, the user must create an account, register their Social Security number, then synchronize their health insurance by selecting it from a list and entering their contract number and login details.

Problem

Today, to track their medical reimbursements, users must switch between multiple platforms: the Ameli website for Social Security and their health insurance provider’s platform. This double management leads to wasted time, multiple logins, and added complexity—especially when managing reimbursements for an entire family.

Research

  • User studies, interviews, and persona creation (e.g., Thérèse, 80 years old, not comfortable with digital tools, and Arthur, 31, a very busy executive).
  • User journey mapping to identify friction points starting from account creation.
  • Usability testing conducted in multiple iterations, leading to improvements in navigation flow (adding “forgot password,” simplifying sign-up, enabling health insurance synchronization at account creation).
  • Consideration of accessibility standards (contrast, font sizes, spacing).

Solution

Design of Easy Santé, a mobile app (fictional) that centralizes reimbursements from both Social Security and health insurance providers.

  • Login via France Connect or Digital Identity.
  • Registration with Social Security number.
  • Add family members (children, parents, spouse) by entering their Social Security number and ID.
  • Track all medical reimbursements in one place with filters by family member.
  • Synchronization with health insurance providers via web services and partnerships.
  • Clear dashboard combining reimbursements, documents, appointments, and doctor contacts.
  • Creation of wireframes, mockups, and both low- and high-fidelity prototypes.

Outcome

  • Delivery of a functional prototype proving the value of the app as a single hub for medical reimbursements.
  • Simplified user experience: one login, centralized tracking, and full accessibility.
  • Perspectives for future versions (V2/V3): desktop/web version, new features, gamification, and a broader ecosystem.
  • A highly instructive project as part of the Google UX Design certification, combining research, design, and accessibility in the healthcare domain.

App features

  • Account creation via France Connect or Digital Identity
