Norauto mobile app

The Project

During my 5 years at Wazapp, I worked on various projects for Norauto. The main project was the mobile application available on iOS and Android. We also developed numerous Proofs of Concept (POCs), such as augmented reality, iBeacons, and the integration of connected car solutions with the XEE tracking device.

Problem

Norauto wanted to modernize its mobile application and explore new digital opportunities. The challenge was to redesign the app with a fresh, modern look while testing emerging technologies such as augmented reality, iBeacons, and connected car solutions to improve customer experience.

Research

  • Met with customers in Norauto centers to identify needs and expectations.
  • Gathered insights through workshops, user testing, and co-design sessions.
  • Explored innovative technologies to evaluate their value for end users.

Solution

  • Redesigned the mobile app with a flat design aligned with iOS7.
  • Added key features: car locator, tire quotes, assistance, loyalty program, discount integration in Wallet.
  • Developed several POCs (iBeacons, augmented reality, XEE connected car).

Outcome

  • Delivered a modern, feature-rich app available on iOS and Android.
  • Enhanced customer experience with practical, engaging functionalities.
  • Positioned Norauto as an innovative player by testing and validating new digital technologies.
